Lank really needs no introduction, with close to 150 releases on Beatport over the years and support from some of the biggest DJs in the world. He joins Lowbit together with Marco Grandi with their incredible Along The Way EP. The eponymous track of the release is a fantastic piece of music with its filtered voice work, rhythmic chords, chunky drums and stylish melodies. Chaka Chaka blends some classic house chords with deep progressive pads, which combined with an upbeat bouncy bassline and energetic drums truly creates something unique.

Luke Porter is back on Lowbit remixing Along The Way. Putting his trademark deep yet energetic touch to the track, he morphs the original into a truly epic masterpiece that has already proven to raise the roof of the main room in Ministry Of Sound in the hands of Hernan Cattaneo.

David Granha should be counted as one of the new young artists that really think outside the box when it comes to music and it shows in his remix of Chaka Chaka; blending a deep rough bassline with live recorded pianos, guitars and strings with powerful drums, he has created a deliciously distinctive rework.

Wrapping up the release are the guys behind Lowbit, Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union, who go back to their roots on their remix of Chaka Chaka. With an upbeat bassline and crisp, punchy percussion, the duo have struck the perfect balance between deep and funk. The added dose of melody rounds out a great little groover which will work at any time of the night in a club.
